Meet Truest
Truest Carter, a 20-year resident of Northern Virginia, is a writer, USAF veteran, and pediatric nurse. She has a BSN, an MA in Liberal Studies, and a Creative Writing Certificate from Emory University. She’s published historical romance, poetry, and travel memoir short stories. She obsessed about writing historical romance novels with a women's rights theme. Lately, she’s pivoted to writing contemporary military medical romance and loves it. When she is not writing or researching, Ms. Carter recharges on hikes in the Shenandoah Mountains with her husband and energetic rescue dog.
